The cottage is located in the village of Loc Eguiner – St. Thegonnec in the region of Finistère within Brittany. The village is located in a beautiful rural setting but still offers the convenience of an all in one bar/restaurant/shop. There are lovely walks around the whole area.
There are lovely coastal areas within a 20 minute drive north of the Village. The coastal towns of St-Pol-de-Leon, Carantec and Roscoff are really worth a visit. Within a 15 minutes drive is the pretty town of Morlaix, with half timbered buildings, cobbled streets, stunning viaduct and moorings. There are fantastic beaches further along the coast heading towards the town of Lannion, in the resorts of Plestin-les-Greves and Locquirec.
Heading south from the village, approximately 10-15 minutes drive, you can visit the Monts D’Arrée national park. It has some beautiful rugged scenery, with moorlands and lakes. There is a whole number of visitor attractions within the area. Please make use of the tourist literature available within the cottage.
The cottage itself is 200 years old and offers much character, including exposed beams, wood burning fire and stone walls. Being newly renovated, the cottage is freshly decorated with carpets, kitchen units and bathroom/shower suite. There is satellite television with English channels, a music system with CD, tape and radio. Convector heating is offered throughout the accommodation together with heated towel rail in the bathroom.
The Accommodation:
The cottage offers two double bedrooms, one with a double bed the other with two single beds. Each room is furnished with country style furniture, including wardrobe, drawers, bedside cupboard bedside lighting radio alarm clock and large mirror. Lovely views are offered from each of the bedrooms.
